How do I sign-up for a trip?

Sign-ups are open and continue until trips are full.

  • Sign-ups are 'first come, first serve' for all EKU students. Sign-ups take place online on OrgSync in the EKU Alternative Breaks Portal.

  • You register for the trip of your choice by choosing the trip, clicking register, and completing an application.  You can apply to multiple trips, but please indicate your preference for which trip is your first choice.
  • Once you have completed the application you then pay the application fee on the Alternative Break Payment Site – Powered by TouchNet. An email will be sent with a link as well. You only have to pay the application fee once, even if you apply for all seven Spring Break Trips.
  • Once the $25 Fee has been paid, your application will be processed and you will assigned to your top trip if space is still available.
  • You will then, be sent an email given the code to pay a deposit equal to 1/3 of the total cost of the trip. You will have 10 business days to pay the deposit on the Alternative Break Payment Site to secure your spot.  The email will also include pre-trip forms for your review and completion.
  • The exact amount of the required deposit is listed on OrgSync under each trip. For every trip the deposit is 1/3 of the total trip cost.
  • **NOTE** Registration Emails are sent through OrgSync.  If you do not recieve an email from OrgSync make sure to check your Junk Email
