Closet Transform is a program focusing on clothing needs for the LGBTQ students at EKU. We provide a safe space for students to get gender affiming clothing, shoes, and accessories, as well as get information about other resources on and off campus.
This service is free and open to all enrolled EKU students. You can request to use Closet TransForm at the Colonel's Cupboard by completing the request assistance form on the left side of the page.
Closet TransForm has a selection of casual clothing and accessories. You can reach out and schedule an appointent with the Request Assistance Form HERE.
Students looking for more formal attire should check out the Dress for Success Program from the Center for Career and Cooperative Education HERE.

Clothing Selection Guidelines:
-Students can utilize the Closet services for free when needed.
-Once clothing items are selected, the Closet is not responsible for any items that shrink when washed.
-Students are free to donate items at the same time they select items from the Closet, but are not obligated to do so.
-Accessories (belts, hats, shoes, bags) are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and may be limited based on availability.
-It is strongly encouraged that students try on items before making their final selection.
-To ensure that as many students are served as possible, the number of items students may take at one time is limited. Such limits include:
- 3 tops and 1 bottom
- One pack of socks (if available)
- One pack of undergarments (if available)
- One chest binder or bra
- One heavy coat
Closet TransForm does run on donations. Donations can be dropped off in the Colonel's Cupboard in the Powell Student Center. We ask that all donations be placed in a tied plastic bag. We cannot accept dry-clean only clothing if it does not have a drycleaner tag indicating a recent clean.
