*The Cupboard is in need of "Dry Good Items." This includes Easy Mac, Ramen, peanutbutter, jelly, oatmeal, chips, crackers, etc.*
The Colonel’s Cupboard runs entirely off of donations! Our mission is to provide emergency food to students in need. We provide a list of food items we currently accept. By limiting donations to a few select food items we have a more consistent stock, and provide food that is nutritional and students can consume.
We have also begun to accept donations of certain toiletry items at the Cupboard.
Monetary donations are also welcomed and accepted! You can donate to the Cupboard's foundation account by clicking here. In order to donate to the Cupboard, follow these steps:
1. Enter the amount you would like to donate.
2. Click on "View all Giving Opportunities"
3. Search "Colonel's Cupboard" and select it.
4. Click "continue" and enter the necessary information.
5. Complete the payment.
All monetary donations will be used to purchase food, toiletries, and necessary supplies for the Colonel's Cupboard.
Physical donations may be dropped off anytime during regular business hours to Student Life or at the Colonel’s Cupboard, Commonwealth Hall 212 (near the Parking Office).
We are also happy to work with any office, department, student organization, or community group that would like to host a food drive for the Cupboard. Please contact us at 859-622-3855 or firstname.lastname@example.org if this is something your group might like to do!
At this time, we are limiting donations to the non-perishable items listed in the attached document below-- plus paper plates, bowls, utensils, and some toiletry items.
If you would like to donate diapers, and related items, without the hassle, you can order directly from our Amazon Wish List HERE.
Note: For safety reasons, we cannot redistribute homemade products, open items, damaged items, or items that have expired. Sorry for the inconvenience.
