#EKUServes- Over 3,900 Hours Served by EKU Students Last Year!

Students Serve

From September of 2016 to September 2017, EKU students have logged 3,975.1 service hours through various community service innitiatives! According to The Non-Profit Times (2015), each hour of volunteer work is worth up to $23.07 an hour, meaning that EKU Students have contributed $91,705.56 of value to thier community!

These students have done everything from working in the Colone's Cupboard Food Pantry, to building homes in New Orleans during spring break. Our service opportunities allow students to give back, make connections in their feild of study, and connect them with other individuals in the community.

Next year, our hope is to grow our service program and continue to have a positive impact on our community and nation!
