MLK Service Series

MLK

“If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.

Join Student Life & First-Year Experience for our MLK Service Series, where we offer a variety of social distanced and virtual service opportunities! While our service work might look a little different, we want to keep moving forward and serving our communities.

Be sure to share your service work with #EKUServes on social media.

At Home Service Opportunities

We know that many people may not make it to campus, but still want to give back. Check out these opportunties to serve away from campus.

-Reach out to parents you know, and offer to give their child a lesson or read them a book over video chat.

-Make cards to donate to Veterans, active Military, local nursing homes, etc.

-Offer to pick up groceries, medication, etc. for at-risk individuals.

-Grab a pair of gloves and a trash bag, and pick up trash in your neighborhood.

If you have any questions, please contact Nikki Hart at nikki.hart@eku.edu or 859-622-3855.
